American Heart Association salutes CPR Awareness Month

Heart disease is the number one killer worldwide and stroke ranks second globally. June is CPR awareness month and the American Heart Association’s aim is to have a world free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

The American Heart Association wants to solve complex issues that affect this generation and generations to come. It believes with public support, people’s quality of life will improve greatly, ensure healthy environments, strengthen the economy, and elevate care and change policy for all.

It is also working within the community to invest in scientific research and fuel discovery, and educating and preparing people to step up and take action. The American Heart Association’s quality programs are designed to remove barriers to getting care.
