La Montañita Co-op Food Market was excited to be hosting their 29th annual EarthFest, and our own Sara Rose was there to experience it. Each year La Montañita takes over Silver Ave. between Carlisle and Tulane and makes room for tons of local vendors, social and economic justice organizations, artists, environmental advocacy groups, performers and, of course, La Montañita’s delicious deli foods.
The two-block party had a large stage front and center where attendees would enjoy a variety of performances throughout the day while walking amongst Spring starter plants, artwork made right here in New Mexico, area gardening and farming experts and more. Be sure to enjoy all that La Montañita Co-op EarthFest has to offer as it celebrates our local community and planet.
